Bacolod City (18 July) -- The Social Security System (SSS) office here is inviting members to take advantage of its recently opened paying facility or "Bayad Center" at the SM City.

SSS Branch Head Elvira Banico said SM City paying facility opened last May of this year while Western Union-RCPI opened last year.

She said the opening of these centers will help a lot in unloading the volume of members paying their contributions and loans at the main office.

The scheme will also free them from the hassles of taking long queues at the main SSS office. It will be very convenient on the part of the members especially if they frequent at authorized "Bayad Centers," she added.

Big cities like Manila will benefit most from this set-up as she corrected wrong notion that the posting of payments made at centers will take longer compared to paying directly to the SSS office.
