Koronadal City (22 October) -- Napolcom 12 Regional Director Benjamin Florentino has announced that they are going to implement stricter measures in order to ensure an orderly and ‘clean' conduct of the NAPOLCOM-administered Police Entrance and Promotional Examinations scheduled this Sunday, October 25, 2009 at Notre Dame of Marbel University, Koronadal City.
They have requested from the Department of Education District Office in Koronadal City for additional teachers to serve as Proctors and Assistant Proctors during the examination day.
They also have coordinated with the different PNP Heads of Offices in the region to issue directives to their PNP members who are taking the exams not to bring their firearms to the exam center and that, unlike the previous conduct of exams, they will no longer accept and safe-keep firearms at the entrance of the exam center.
Each examinee will be frisked at the main gate of the school campus and those who carry personal belongings, such as bags, clutch bags, backpacks, organizers, cell phones, hand held radios, calculators, notebooks, books and similar items, will be absolutely not allowed entry.
There are a total of 846 PNP members and 1,020 civilians coming from different places all over Region 12 who will be taking the exams.
"We would like to ask for the cooperation of the examinees in order for us to have a hassle-free conduct of the examinations", Director Florentino said. (NAPOLCOM 12/PIA 12) [top]
