Supervisory devít course moulds top caliber govít personnel

TACLOBAN CITY (April 25) -Ė The Supervisory Development Course (SDC) of the Civil Service Commission (CSC) Region 8 to be conducted on May 21-25, 2007 will carve top caliber first-line supervisors of government agencies in the region.
The course, which is a part of the continuing program of the CSC to develop end retain highly competent and professional workforce in public service is determined to highly upgrade the managerial and supervisory knowledge and skills of division and section chiefs who are the first line supervisors of government agencies.
The course modules in SDC Tracks 2 and 3 which includes Leadership, How to Spark Exceptional Performance, Making Powerful Winning Presentations and Making Meetings Productive are suitably selected to realize its objective.
The SDC Tracks 2 and 3 intended solely for division/section chiefs of government agencies who have attended the SDC Track 1 conducted on February 20-23, 2007 will complete the course.
Participants are obliged to pay a fee of Four Thousand Five Hundred (P4,500.00) Pesos in cash or check payable to the Civil Service Commission Regional Office No. 8. The collected fee will be used to defray expenses for venue rental, handouts, training materials and incidental costs to be incurred in the 5-day live-out training.
Following government accounting procedures, venue selection is undergoing the bidding process therefore CSC-8 will just announce later the venue for this supervisory development course.
