227 new recruits deployed to Cauayan police stations

Cauayan City, Isabela (26 January) -- Fresh graduates to the Philippine National Police - Regional Training School 2 based in this city has successfully finished an intensive 6 months training now becoming police officers 1 and will be regular members in the PNP after another six months of on-the-job training.

A total of 227 new police officers with the rank of Police Officers I graduated this morning (January 22) and were immediately dispatched to the different police stations in the region to perform police works.

PNP-RTS Training Director P/SSupt. Gregorio Pua said the new police officers are leaving the training school and are now assigned to different police stations of region 2 for another six months On-the-Job Training before becoming regular members of the PNP.

The new police officers were fetched by chiefs of police of region 2 where they will perform their duties as police officers.

The determination of their assignments was made by the Police Regional Office-2 in coordination with the Regional Training School management.

Meanwhile, Deputy Regional Director for Operations C/Supt. James Andres Melad said that PRO2 is again inviting applicants for the next batch of future police officers who will undergo training to submit their applications in their respective police stations.

He said the region is expected to recruit additional 300-500 police this year. (PIA Isabela) [top]
