Tagalog News: 185 trabahador ng emergency employment program, mga biktima rin ng kalamidad

TABUK CITY, Enero 13(PIA)-- Ayon sa hepe ng Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Kalinga na si Dr. Avelina Manganip, mayroong 186 na trabahador ang kinuha ng DOLE sa ilalim ng Emergency Employment Program (EEP).

Sila ay mga naging biktima ng mga nagdaang bagyo na dumaan sa lalawigan. Kinuha sila upang magkumpuni, maglinis, at ayusin ang mga nasirang imprastraktura ng gobyerno na sinira ng bagyo.

Ang 185 ay umaasang makakatanggap ng kanilang sahod mula sa Emergency Employment Program (EEP) simula sa susunod na lingo ayon kay Manganip.

Ang mga trabahador, aniya, ay inupahan para magtrabaho ng 15 hanggang 30 araw upang mabigyan ng pagkakataong kumita pagkatapos mawala o masira ang kanilang mga hanap buhay.

Sa pamamagitan ng pansamantalang trabaho, umaasa ang pamahalaan aniya na matulungan ang mga itong maibigay ang araw-araw na pangangailangan ng kanilang mga pamilya habang pinipilit ibangon ulit ang kanilang mga nasirang hanap-buhay.
