Launched by the Philippine Center for Entrepreneurship (PCE), the competition is themed “Babae: Kapuso Ka ng Bayan” and aims to recognize the contributions of the women in the Philippine society.

“The essay writing contest promotes and encourages conscious awareness of the contributions of ‘kababaihan’ (Women) in the different levels of the society, in the different social strata, and all fields imaginable,” said PCE.

The contest is open to all individuals, regardless of age and gender; medium may be English or Filipino; and the essay must be original, unpublished either in print or online, and shall be at a maximum of 1,000 words.

Entries must be in Word format, double spaced, font size 12, font style Tahoma, and must be sent as an attachment, together with the entry form to feedback@gonegosyo.net, with the subject WES 2012 Essay.

The winning entries will be announced during the Women Entrepreneurship Summit on March 2 at the World Trade Center. Prior to the event, Go Negosyo shall inform the winners to ensure their presence at the summit.

Meanwhile, Go Negosyo is also calling out to exhibitors who would like to showcase their products, services, business techniques, and entrepreneurial ideas during the summit.
