DavidCITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga, Jan. 27 (PIA) -- The National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM) will implement the Online Examination Application Scheduling System (OLEASS) for the conduct of the Philippine National Police (PNP) Entrance and Promotional Examinations scheduled on April 29. NAPOLCOM Regional Director Manuel Pontanal said OLEASS shall be implemented from Feb. 1 to 13. In this system, an applicant must first secure a scheduled appointment online before going personally to the regional office. Walk-in applicants without the confirmed scheduled appointment shall not be entertained while applicants who fail to come on the date shall lose the exam slot. The PNP entrance test is open to civilians who are Bachelor’s Degree holders, not more than 30 years old, 1.62 meters tall for male and 1.57 meters for female. The exam is also a requirement for PNP officers with temporary status as Police Officer I and who wishes to have their appointment permanent. The promotional exam is open to all uniformed personnel such as Police Officers, Senior Police Officers, Police Inspectors and Police Superintendents. Civilian applicants must bring one legal-sized envelope, one mailing stamp worth P9.00, diploma, transcript of records and birth certificate. Those PNP officers with temporary appointments should submit a certified true copy of Attested Appointment and Plantilla Appointment or Special Order.
