Tagalog News: P2.7M mini bus para sa disaster preparedness binasbasan

BATANGAS CITY, Enero 14 (PIA) -- Binasbasan kamakailan ang bagong P2.7 million 30-seater Hyundai county mini bus ng pamahalaang lungsod ng Batangas.

Karagdagan ito sa mga bagong service vehicles na nabili ngayong 2012 upang higit na masaayos ang operasyon ng iba’t ibang departamento ng pamahalaang lungsod. Nauna rito ang 15 FB (L300), tatlong Toyota Innova, at 12 motorsiklo.

Sinabi ni Joyce Cantre, hepe ng general services department, makatutulong ang nasabing mini bus sa mga official functions ng lungsod pati na sa city disaster preparedness. Malaki rin ang matitipid sa oras at gas kung ito ang gagamitin kapag mahigit sa 20 ang sakay nito.

Para naman sa mga lumang utility vehicles, ipinabatid ni Cantre na ibabalik ito sa GSD, saka dadalhin sa warehouse upang ipa-check sa mga mekaniko ang fuel consumption nito.

Maaari itong ipa-auction o kapag pwede pa ay ibibigay sa mga offices na wala pang service vehicle, pagtatapos ni Centre. (DL/M-PIO Batangas City/PIA-Batangas)
