First quarter job fair schedules now available

MANILA, Jan 24 (PIA) -- The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) has outlined its first quarter job fair schedules in the National Capital Region and nine other regions.

Labor and Employment Secretary Rosalinda Baldoz, in a news release said, jobseekers who are raring to work this year could start their job search at their own communities, as DOLE is making it easier for them by bringing the jobs through its job fairs in the regions.

The schedule of the job fairs is already available at the online site of the Phil-Jobnet (, which is linked to the DOLE website (; to the Bureau of Local Employment website (; to the website of the Bureau of Workers with Special Concerns (; and to the website of the TESDA (

For the NCR, schedule and the venues are as follows: January 21--PESO Mandaluyong; January 23--PESO Mandaluyong (Repeat); January 27--Brgy. South Signal, Taguig City; PESO Office, Muntinlupa City; Bernabe Covered Court, Pulang Lupa, Las Piñas City; PESO Pasay City; January 31--PESO Pasig City; January 6, 9, and 11--PESO Muntinlupa City; January 12--PESO Pasig City; January 12--PESO Pasay City; January 14--Sto. Nino Parish Signal Village, PESO Taguig City; January 16--PESO Muntinlupa City; January 18--Brgy. Lower Bicutan, PESO Taguig City; January 19--PESO Pasig City and PESO Pateros; and January 20--PESO Office, Muntinlupa City, PESO Las Piñas, PESO Marikina City.
