Cebuano news: DOE, nakapili na sa mga mo-audit sa libro sa ‘Big 3’

TAGBILARAN CITY, Bohol, Jan. 04 (PIA) -- Nakapili na ang Department of Energy (DOE) sa mga tawong mo-umol sa audit team nga mo-audit sa libro sa tulo ka dagkong kumpanya sa lana aron mahibaw-an kun makatarungan o nag-overprice sa presyo sa gasolina.

Sa usa ka radio interview kang Energy Secretary Jose Rene Almendras, miingon kini nga dili pa pinal ang maong listahan tungod kay gusto pa sa ubang nominado nga paaboton nga matapos ang gihimo nilang terms of reference (TOR) aron mahibaw-an kun unsa ang ilang i-audit.

Apil sa mga napili alang sa audit team silang University of the Philippines (UP) Professor Ben Diokno nga usa ka ekonomista, apil na usab silang Winnie Monsod ug Vic Abola, Rene Azurin gikan sa academe.

Si Atty. Vigor Mendoza nga maoy napili sa transport sector, Tammy Lepana ug Dexter Ortega nga girekomendar sa Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA), Jesus Estanislao gikan sa business community, apil usab sila Raul Concepcion ug Jose Pepito gikan sa National Council for Consumer Affairs.
