Cebuano News: Militar midonar ug mga bisti sa mga nabiktima sa Sendong sa Tanjay

DUMAGUETE CITY, Jan. 13 (PIA) – Labaw sa 5,000 ka pamilya nga naigo sa bagyong Sendong sa Tanjay City ang nakadawat ug mga sapot hinabang gikan sa 302 Brigade, Philippine Army.

Sumala ni Public Information Officer, Captain Anacito Naz, ang Brigada midonar ug unom ka sakong mga sapot alang sa siyudad sa Tanjay.

Ang maong mga bisti gitunol ngadto kang Mayor Lawrence Teves uban sa City Social Welfare and Development Officer sa City Hall.

Misuma sa 5,293 ka mga pamilya gikan sa 18 ka mga barangay sa Tanjay ang naapektohan sa Sendong nga sumala pa mihatag ug kadaot sa 380 ka ektaryang fishponds, 381 ka kaumahan, 280 ka ektarayang kahumayan ug 18 ka ektaryang kamaisan.

Matud ni Brigade Commander Col. Francisco Patrimonio ang 302 Brigade ug ang mga sakop niini padayong nangita ug paagi sa pagtabang sa mga apektadong pamilya.

Siya miingon nga ang mga army troopers, CAFGUs ug reservists personnel mihatag sa ilang kusog ug ayuda sa transportasyon ngadto sa mga ahensiya sa gobyerno, non-government organizations, local chief executives ug uban pang nalambigit sa relief operations ngadto sa mga biktima sa Sendong.

Kanhi, labaw sa 50 ka military personnel, CAFGUs ug reservists mitabang pagputos sa mga nagkalain-laing relief goods sa ABS-CBN Cebu didto sa Silliman University Gymnasium sa Dumaguete City. (translated into Cebuano by Rizalie Anding Calibo/PIA-Siquijor)
