Cebuano News: 296 Filipino crew sa mitakilid nga barko sa Italy, mamaule na sugod karong adlawa

TAGBILARAN CITY, Bohol, Jan. 17 (PIA) -- Gipaabot nga mamaule na sa Pilipinas sugod karong adlawa ang 296 Filipino crew sa barkong mitakilid sa Tuscany, Italy.

Matud pa ni Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) Spokesperson Raul Hernandez sa usa ka radio interview, magbakasyon una ang mga Pinoy crew samtang ipahimotang ang bag-o nilang deployment sa mga mosunod nga buwan.

Una nang giseguro sa DFA nga luwas ang tanang crew ug gipaabot nga makagawas na usab sa tambalanan ang tulo ka Pinoy nga nabalian sa braso ug nag-hypothermia.

Gibutyag ni Hernandez nga gi-abaga na sa Costa Crociere, ang kumpanyang tag-iya sa cruise ship nga Costa Concordia, ang aksidente ug misaad nga mohatag og tabang sa mga crew sa barko.

Gawas niini, bayaran usab sa kumpanya ang mga nangawalang gamit sa mga biktima, motabang nga maalisdan ang mga nangawala nilang dokumento ug makigsabot sa nasud kalabot sa daling repatriation sa mga Pinoy. (Elvira Bongosia/PIA-Bohol)
