Tagalog News: Bagong sistema sa pasahod, ipaliliwanag ng RTWPB-12 sa public consultation

KORONADAL CITY, Ene. 2 (PIA) -- Nakatakdang pag-uusapan sa darating na public consultation ng Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board sa Rehiyon Dose (RTWPB-12) sa General Santos City at Kidapawan City nitong Enero ang bagong sistema ng pagbibigay ng sahod na isinusulong ng Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE).

Ayon kay RTWPB-12 secretary Jessie dela Cruz, ginawa nilang tentative ang schedule ng public consultation sa General Santos City at Kidapawan City sa Enero 25 at 26, dahil hinihintay pa nila ang kumpirmasyon ng mga resource persons galing sa National Wages and Productivity Commission na magpapaliwanag hinggil sa two-tiered wage system na kanilang ipapatupad.

Ang two-tiered wage system ay binubuo ng isang tinatawag na regional floor wage at isang wage scheme na nakabatay sa performance o productivity ng mga manggagawa.

Nauna nang ipinaliwanag ni Director Tango na ang floor wage ay ang pinakamababang arawang pasahod na dapat sundin ng lahat na establisimyento. Ito ay itatalaga ng RTWPB.

Samantalang ang ikalawang bahagi na productivity or performance –based pay scheme ay boluntaryong ibibigay ng mga kompanya sa kanilang mga manggawa.

Naniniwala ang DOLE na ang two-tiered wage system ay mas makahihikayat sa mga manggagawa sa pribadong sector na maging produktibo. (DEDoguiles/PIA 12)
